Project Overview:
We had the privilege of partnering with Government Aizawl North College (GANC) to create a dynamic and user-friendly website (ganc.edu.in). This project aimed to enhance the college’s online presence, streamline institutional communication, and provide easy access to vital information for students, faculty, and the community.
Scope of Work:
- Design and Development: We designed a visually appealing and responsive custom website built on the WordPress platform, ensuring compatibility with various devices and browsers. The design reflects the institution’s identity and values while prioritizing a mobile-friendly layout for easy access on smartphones.
- Content Management: The website includes an intuitive content management system (CMS) to enable the GANC team to easily update and manage website content. This specifically includes a dynamic News/Notice section to keep students and staff informed of real-time announcements, exam schedules, and events.
- Information Accessibility: We organized the website structure to ensure that important institutional data is easily accessible. To achieve this, we developed detailed pages for academic Departments, comprehensive Faculty Profiles to showcase the teaching staff, and a dedicated IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) portal for publishing important compliance reports, accreditation data, and meeting minutes.
- Interactive Features: To engage the audience and streamline administrative workflows, we integrated interactive features such as a secure online Grievance Form that allows students and staff to submit concerns directly to the administration. The site also includes standard contact forms and inquiry links to facilitate communication between the institute and its stakeholders.
- Training: We provided training to the GANC staff to ensure they can efficiently manage and update the website on an ongoing basis.
Results:
The new Government Aizawl North College website serves as a valuable resource for students, faculty, and the community. It has improved the institute’s online presence, accessibility, and communication with its audience. The website reflects the institution’s commitment to quality education and provides a platform for growth and development in the digital age.
